Enjoy it for the most part. Rough overall but enjoyable. I think you should look into optimization. Reading the fact that your sequel is lags that is where you should start. If i had to guess it is because of how many objects it is trying to render you need to learn about culling to reduce the number of objects the game is trying to render.
People seem to be interested in an update or sequel to this and I did make like the first 20% of a sequel taking place in Abel city instead of the middle of nowhere. I'm a bit stalled because it lags like crazy and also I'm back at work full time. I still hope to put another one out with improved physics and maybe a playable Axel or Layer, but it won't be for a while.
This is an awesome concept. I understand that it is in the early stages, has some bugs, but I absolutely loved this. Aside from the lag in some areas from having a few to many enemies on screen and the dash taking stamina, this is an indie game that I would like to play as it's updated. Hopefully you see this and feel a little inspiration, and that this motivates you to do some updates. Have a great day <3

The game is stuck in fullscren with the godot logo and the music running.
A shell appears with the following message:

That's one I've never seen before. Sorry for that. I don't know if I'll be updating this any time soon, though.

Alas... alas... no

Yep. If I make a sequel I might make it in an updated engine I've been using for another project which if much more optimized.

Thanks for this video. I always love it when people post videos of my stuff.
....Thanks?
Thanks!
This is cool. Would love uninverted gamepad support, pause menu, and saving. Edit: Nvm I figured out the save functionality!
The overworld has a bunch of spots where you can get stuck and have to debug out with the U key, also don't dash in the boarski boss room
Really liked it overall, boarski's stage/area was probably my favorite. Expected the final boss to be x7 sigma, I was mistaken.
I just liked Vile 2.0 better.
